
D. Michael Hardt
Michael is native of San Diego, California, where he also received a PhD in Robotics & Control Engineering from UCSD. He continued as a postdoc in Munich and Darmstadt working in control of hybrid systems and legged robot system design. In the industrial sector, he worked with Siemens in Germany in adaptive injection system design for automotive systems. Then with Sener Ingenería y Sistemas in Madrid, he designed the simulation and control system for the ESA International Berthing & Docking System for space docking along with many other robotic system developments. Since three years he has been with Boeing Research & Development Europe working in UAS GNC technologies.
